"So I found this restaurant on tik-tok and was not disappointed me and my family of 6 ate great we a re from Maryland and love southern cooking. Our waitress Tae was nothing but amazing, she explained everything and was very patient with us which made the experience more better. I would definitely revisit stop in and check them out."

"Let me tell you what, my students had a whole lot to say about the outside. By the time they were greeted, sat, and cared for immediately at 8 pm on a Friday, no one cared what the outside looked like. The food was 10/10 all around, not one student had anything bad they could say about their meal."

"Food was pretty good. First time eating here. Would go again and try a different item."

"Their fried chicken is so good. I don't know if it's the best I've ever had, but I can't think of anywhere better at the moment. This should have been an easy five star review. But they charge 2.49 for tap water, and worse, I did not find this out until the bill came. It appears from the other reviews that this is a recent change. Hopefully, the management will have the sense to fix this ASAP to avoid pissing more customers off over something that costs them pennies, and creates awkward situations for their servers. Apart from this one issue, the service and food was excellent."

"Great local restaurant. Food was fresh, tasty, and generous portions. My oyster connoisseur husband said they were fresh and fried perfectly. My Fraisers Connection sandwich was the best I've had in a long time."

"Hidden gem. I was iffy about making a review for this place because I don't want it to get swarm, but it would be a shame not to share. So, this is my second time coming back for the red beans and rice, with an order of smoked sausages. I think it is the best from all that I have tried in my life. Not to salty, not to bland, but perfected to my taste. They have a great selection of typical Nola dishes as well, and is worth the try in my opinion. If I have visitors from out-of-state, this place would be one of the stop we have to make. What to try: Red Beans and rice, with smoked sausages"

"I forgot about this place, but now I'm back. Grabbed the Wednesday special, which was pretty good, I asked the waitress if it was white or dark meat. She informed me it was white, she was wrong. My mechanic scored from that. We did go back Thursday, I got the hotdog on french with homemade chili. Food is good, and the seasoning was good. We will be regulars!"
